We were walking down to the Piazza and we came across a big stand on the street and it was so interesting and well put together we had to share it. They had around 100 varieties of mushroom on display labeled if they were edible or poisonous. Then in the middle of their display they had a woodland like scene set up. Liz remembers her foreign exchange student in high school (Nico) talking about how his family would go foraging for mushrooms. Maybe it’s a really common past time for Italians to go mushroom hunting and they set this booth up so people could be knowledgable about poisonous or edible mushrooms. But that’s just our guess. Enjoy the pictures!
Is the red label the poisonous one?
